Your New Role...

This position exists to manage the Order to Cash (OTC) workstreams of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) International Television Distribution. This person will have responsibility for managing and prioritizing the day-to-day billing and collection activities for global clients. Responsible for regular and ad hoc reporting of progress toward achieving targets. This person will provide leadership and training to outsourced Service Delivery Center team and identify process and system improvements for maximizing productivity and effectiveness.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Responsible for managing billing and collection activities for International TV clients to ensure collection targets are met and Aging is maintained at the most current possible level.

  • Perform escalations both within established guidelines and in exception cases.

  • Manage special compliance customers to ensure billing and collection activities meet company mandated guidelines.

  • Communicate complex issues and effectively handle difficult customer interactions to maximize timely and accurate results.

  • Manage new customer approvals and ensure tax jurisdictions and rates are properly maintained (VAT and WHT)

  • Work with teams to analyze customer accounts as needed to resolve issues.

  • Analyze deals and change orders as needed to assist with complex terms or changes.

  • Communicate with TV stakeholders to ensure visibility of issues and accomplishments.

  • Review Desktop Procedures (DTP) to ensure they are maintained, up to date and in use by the OTC teams.

  • Provide training to the outsourced Service Delivery Center as needed to ensure best billing and collections practices are being followed.

  • Coordinate to have teams provide support for annual audits.

  • Align processes in accordance with Global Process Owner guidance and support roll out of global policies to the local markets.

  • Understand statutory billing requirements specific to France and work closely with local Tech Ops group to understand delivery/reporting requirements

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Confirmed work experience in Accounts Receivables field required.

  • Experience in SAP is required.

  • Intermediate to advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong independent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-manage to meet competing deliverables.

  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Business-level English language skills required.

  • Business-level French language skills preferred.

  • Ability to work independently, creatively, and efficiently.

  • Proven track record in meeting deadlines

  • Experience in the Media Industry with an understanding of licensing deals is preferred
