Primary Purpose of the Job:

To create Marketing and promotional assets to support activity across all areas of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Leverage the rich assets of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo and Wizarding World to deliver creative designs to meet the specifications of a clearly defined brief to a set deadline

  • Use design and editing software to create pixel perfect digital assets for all platforms including Social Media, Official Website, Partners’ sites, In-attraction Displays etc

  • Create and handle the creative briefs and provide appropriate direction to design agencies for creative when needed

  • Handle the design of print materials for both customer-facing and in-attraction usage

  • Repurpose agency-designed campaign artwork working with layered design files to deliver additional formats required for all Marketing activities

  • Handle creation in compliance with detailed brand guidelines and able to be flexible with the IP requirement

  • Keep the design standard at top-notch level constantly to ensure powerful experience is delivered to target audiences

  • Deep-dive into all brand guidelines and learn to live and breathe all WBSTT Brand standards and support the maintenance of the guidelines

  • Support the day-to-day management of Studio Tour Asset Library; ensuring content is up-to-date; approving access and monitoring use of team members, vendors and agencies

  • Have good understanding of Japan Market and is able to contribute ideas and solutions for effective content localisation wherever applicable

  • Ability to work well within a team environment and be able to take direction from multiple stakeholders

  • As a member of Marketing team, be able to assist with any internal/ external activities planned aligned with the team’s performance goal

Selection Criteria

Relevant Previous Work Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working as a Creative Designer or similar role

  • Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other design softwares such as Sketch; in additional to essential IT skills such as Microsoft Office

Skills Required

  • Photography skills will be a huge advantage

  • Knowledge of video editing will be a huge advantage

  • Experienced with design, illustration, and animation.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent task and time management and able to prioritize when juggling multiple tasks with tight timeline

  • Able to work well as a team member and be flexible with creative direction and feedback

  • Resourceful, proactive, creative mind with “can do” attitude

Education / Qualifications

  • Experience in creatives production of Digital Marketing, IP/ Brand Marketing, Consumer products Marketing, Commercial

  • Degree in design-related field such as fine arts, graphic design, corporate design, service design, visual communication, media design

  • Having a good eye for design and aesthetics to create well-thought-out creatives

  • Able to develop spellbinding creatives with key focus on target audiences

  • Communicational level of Japanese and English

Candidates shall be required to provide a design portfolio and complete a Graphic Design Assessment during the interview process
