General Summary:
Achieve sales target through licensing and contribute to maximize the profit of the department and the company. Also establish and develop business relationship with licensees to find the best way to maximize the touchpoint with customers/audience.
アニメプロダクション部門における、海外ライセンス・マーケティングを担当するチームにおいて、ライセンシングを通じ作品を世界中のより多くの人に届けること、および利益向上に貢献いただきます。
主な業務は、海外ライセンシーとのライセンス交渉、契約手続き、売上管理などになります。将来的にライセンスビジネスを率いる人材になって下さる方を募集しています!
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales target for each title
Secure additional profit through relicensing library titles
Increase license deals of non-film rights such as consumer products and games.
Exploit new market and expand business opportunity
Manage the annual budget for global license in association with senior manager
Develop mid-term business plan in accordance with senior manager in association with senior manager
Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with licensees
Have regular communication with licensees to support them maximizing sublicensing particularly consumer product area
Coordinate with team members and other departments such as finance and legal department
Close license agreement in cooperation with legal team
Keep track of quarterly royalty report from licensees and analyse
Conduct market research and share analysis with producers to assist project planning
Experience required:
- 3-5 years proven work experience in contents/anime licensing industry.
Competencies we are looking for:
Excellent negotiation and communication skill
Native-level Japanese and advanced English proficiency
High data analytical ability and information-gathering capacity
Ability to create and deliver well-conceived presentations
Willing to challenge and debate issues that matter
Clear thinking - willing to make sound and prompt decisions
Ability to dig deeply into issues
Flexibility to accept new ways
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
