Your New Role

As a Manager, you will be a key member of the Investor Relations team reporting to the VP, Investor Relations. You will collaborate with the team to help prepare senior executives for investor meetings, conferences, earnings calls, and board meetings. You will assist with quantitative and qualitative analyses of the company, our peers and the industry. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-starter who is also team-oriented, hardworking and results driven and can balance priorities and produce high quality work.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with VP, EVP, CFO and internal stakeholders on the strategy and development of earnings releases, corporate presentations and other corporate information in collaboration with communications, finance and legal departments, ensuring a strong level of client relations.

  • Support quantitative and qualitative research projects using Wall Street research, public filings, and 3rd party data sources. Participate in financial modeling and benchmarking vs. peers. Stay on top of WBD and peer group sell-side analysts’ estimates, valuation framework/analyses, ratings, and target prices, as well as help keep management apprised of Street expectations.

  • Represent the company as a spokesperson to the financial community including discussions with analysts and investors. Track WBD’s institutional ownership and trading trends, and stay updated on market sentiment and reactions to company and industry developments.

  • Help coordinate analyst / investor meetings, conferences & events. Organize and shape content for conference calls and webcast for quarterly earnings and investor conferences. Maintain Investor Relations section of the company website. Help the team with other ad-hoc projects as needed such as preparing communications and distribution of investor relations materials.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in highly analytical financial roles including sell-side equity research, buy-side equity analyst, investment banking, or FP&A

  • Highly skilled in financial modeling and valuation analyses, and basic understanding of the capital markets

  • Excellent team player with the ability to work in a detail-oriented environment and to interact with various constituencies internally and externally

  • Strong interpersonal skills, superior intellect, collaborative and an outstanding ability to communicate

  • Superior written and oral communication skills

  • Prior experience in technology or media, as well as investor relations, is a plus, but not required

  • Self-confidence needed to gain credibility with senior management, investors and analysts

  • Integrity and ethics with the ability to develop and maintain relationships based on trust, respect and credibility

  • Positive, driven, energetic, and resourceful team player; able to roll-up your sleeves to get the job done

  • Travel may be required as needed

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
