The Team...

Global Privacy Services is a centralized team of privacy professionals who work alongside lawyers, product and data teams to drive compliance across the entire enterprise. The team provides services under five core functions: Privacy Operations, Compliance and Assurance, Data Governance, OneTrust Management and Compliance Projects.

The team is a part of Warner Bros Discovery Technology & Operations, sitting alongside core HR, Financial, Legal and Data systems as an enterprise service. Privacy needs run across the entire enterprise, and the team is set up to deliver globally.

We are currently seeking a Privacy Analyst, Global Privacy Operations to work collaboratively with privacy professionals, lawyers, and product and technology stakeholders to manage privacy operations, deliver practical advice, and enable projects across the WBD businesses.

Your Accountabilities...

  • Actively participate and support the delivery of the privacy compliance projects including user testing and creation of training materials.

  • Conduct process analysis and assist in implementing process improvement and automation.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

  • Develop and produce metrics and assist in drafting reports.

  • Leverage OneTrust reporting capabilities to compile and present metrics effectively.

  • Conduct privacy audits to assess compliance of assets and processes.

  • Work with Privacy Counsel, Technology, and Brands to resolve consumer-related escalations.

  • Proactively identify privacy risks in processes and systems and propose mitigations.

  • Handle individual rights requests (IRRs) from consumers, employees, contractors, talent and business partners.

  • Manage inquiries coming into external-facing privacy inboxes.

  • Train product owners on IRR processes as needed.

  • Draft procedures, documents, presentations, and guidance as required.

  • Act as liaison between Privacy and the brands.

Requirements...

  • Familiar with the global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA etc.

  • Experienced in supporting projects ensuring projects are completed on time.

  • Able to identify and assess the privacy risks in the handling of PI and propose mitigating actions.

  • Able to analyse data and information and produce metrics.

  • Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate privacy compliance practices to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experienced in documenting and implementing procedures, controls, and guidelines.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

  • Experienced with OneTrust use and configuration.

  • General understanding of technical aspects of privacy management such as DSAR, cookie compliance and data mapping.

  • Able to coordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders such as Legal counsel, IT, and system owners.

  • Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other applicable laws

  • Experience in a privacy/data protection related field, compliance, project management and business analysis

  • Entertainment industry experience a plus

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
