Your New Role

The main purpose for this role is to ensure all short form material for Discovery Networks Northern Europe is processed and prepared for On Air within set deadlines as well as adhering to multiple European regulators.

Your Role Accountabilities

· Work with Inventory Planning and Marketing teams in Nordic territories to co-ordinate the delivery of all commercial and promo material required for transmission in a complaint and timely manner.

· Act as the first point of contact for commercial and promo compliance queries from clients and producers in Nordic territories.

· Liaise with schedulers across Nordic territories to ensure their requirements and needs are satisfied.

· Work with 3rd party delivery platforms to ensure that copy is provided accurately according to tech specs and set deadlines.

· Browse content to ensure compliance with relevant broadcast regulator.

· Assist and support other teams and Management within the programming department with various ad-hoc tasks as needed.

· Review and edit long form content for multiple broadcast regulators when required

Skills and Experience

· Some experience in a media position involving editorial/ copy coordination

· Good knowledge of broadcast TV and terminology

· Good understanding of broadcast scheduling and MAM systems.

· Experience with Premiere Pro or similar editing platform is preferred

· Knowledge and understanding of Broadcast regulators.

· Great attention to details and ability to work to deadlines.

· Scandinavian language skills are an advantage but not essential.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
