Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London based at WBSL – The Making of Harry Potter is the only place in the world to showcase the authentic sets, props and behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter films at the location where they were made. It has attracted over 14 million visitors since opening in 2012 and has received over 40,000 reviews on TripAdvisor with 96% rating the experience as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’. Since launching, additions to the Tour include Platform 9 ¾ featuring the original Hogwarts Express, the Forbidden Forest and Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

In December 2018 WBSL acquired the Platform 9 ¾ group which has sites at the iconic location in King’s Cross Station and Heathrow airport.

The Tour & Retail group has continued to expand over the last couple of years launching our first flagship store in New York over the Summer of 2021, alongside expanding our ecommerce operations in the UK and US. The summer of 2023 saw us open a replication of our world-famous Tour in Japan, which, has been a phenomenal success.

Your New Role...

We are seeking a Junior Product Designer to join our wonderful Design Team and contribute to the creation of exciting product designs for Harry Potter. As a Junior Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Design Manager and other members of the team to produce work of the highest quality and standard.

Your primary objective will be to develop impactful designs that effectively represent and promote Harry Potter and maintaining a passion for the brand. In this role, your creativity and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial as well as being an engaging team player with the immediate team and wider business units.

If you are an engaging and confident graphic or product designer, with a want to be a keen team player who possess a genuine passion for design and has a strong desire to expand your knowledge and skills as well as a love for Harry Potter - we would love to hear from you!

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Understanding of project briefing requirements and concepts

  • Producing final design solutions (logos, banners, interfaces)

  • Be able to present creative ideas confidently

  • Collaborating with other business units and team members to launch projects

  • Work alongside designers in team to improve knowledge

Requirements and skills

  • Previous experience as a Junior or Graphic Designer

  • Previous experience and an understanding of CAD

  • Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat with general knowledge using Word, Power point and Excel

  • Understanding of visual elements like layout, type and fonts
