The Daily

1)Forecasting

  • Utilize internal and external data sources to assist in developing accurate digital and physical sales forecasts, considering factors such as historical trends, market demand, and promotional activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to gather data inputs and insights for forecasting purposes.

  • Assist team members with their forecasting submission to include consolidating and loading promotional activity data, preparing forecasting tool (Workday Adaptive) with pricing, skus, release dates, promotions, etc.

  • Collaborate with Finance on forecast due dates and reporting requirements.

2)Reporting Support

  • Assist reporting team to prepare new release, preorder, and weekly sales reports. Ensure data integrity from 3rd party sources and internal sources.

  • Support team with data adjustments by working with cross functional teams to ensure accurate data is reflected in our systems.

3)Data Warehouse Support

  • Conduct data validation and integrity checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.

  • Perform regular checks and audits on data to identify and resolve discrepancies or anomalies.

  • Work with IT teams to optimize data warehouse performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.

  • Gather and clean 3rd party data to be ingested into the data warehouse on a regular basis (MS Excel/Query/PowerBI).

  • Collaborate with other team members to support product master data.

  • Implement data mapping strategies to integrate data from different systems and sources into the data warehouse.

4)System and Process Improvement

  • Assist in process improvements for data and reporting on various platforms (BusinessObjects, SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, Looker, Workday Adaptive, and other Reporting Tools).

  • Documentation for Workday Adaptive and Data warehouse changes.

The Essentials

  • Proven experience in data forecasting and data warehouse management.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills required

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.

  • Experience with Workday Adaptive or other forecasting tools.

  • Understanding of fundamental concepts video game forecasting, sales, promotional and financial analysis

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and validation.

  • Familiarity with systems such as Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and Snowflake to extract, transform, and visualize data for reporting and analysis purposes.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide recommendations based on data.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various cross functional groups.

  • Interest and aptitude in interpreting the numbers in context of answering business questions.

  • Ability to quickly understand database systems and recommend improvements.

  • College degree required

  • Some travel required

The Nice to Haves

  • SQL knowledge preferred

  • Cross functional team experience preferred

  • Experience with Business Objects, Snowflake preferred.

  • Interactive Entertainment industry experience or personal interest preferred.

  • 1-3 years experience in similar role preferred.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $50,057.00 - $92,964.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
