Position Summary
T he Staff Program Manager will help develop and execute processes for a global, centralized Product and Design team of +450 Product Managers and Product Designers. They will drive regular business operations to coordinate, collaborate, and execute on the rollout out of a new program. To do this well they will effectively partner with Product Managers and collaborate across disciplines in a matrixed and geographically diverse team.
This role will be focused on large scale projects, supporting key daily and weekly business operations used to coordinate, collaborate, and executive team programs. They will partner closely with leaders to support team communication and set up mechanisms to successfully help Product fulfill on goals. To do so, they will effectively collaborate across disciplines in a matrixed and geographically diverse team.
A successful person in this role will have strong program planning, strategic thinking, and execution skills, change and release management experience, and superior problem-solving skills. They will communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. They will build effective and productive relationships by fostering trust and communicating clearly. They will be organized, have a bias to act quickly, enjoy diving into details and data, and be curious to learn all facets of the program. They will also be bold to advise program leadership on what can be improved and what the team needs to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Execution:
Develop and improve end-to-end planning processes across our product portfolio, including product design, engineering, people and culture, finance, and product operations.
Collaborate with Product Design and Technology partners to ensure integrated processes that meet all needs.
Lead and run regular leadership meetings to facilitate key decisions, effective collaboration, and team education.
Advisory Role:
Serve as a key advisor to DTC Product and Operations leaders for cross department initiatives.
Lead cross-functional planning workshops in collaboration with area owners and executive stakeholders.
Plan and execute long-range plans and build the P&D's Sketch.
Reporting and Communication:
Coordinate and manage day-to-day reporting, including status updates, priorities, risks, and action items.
Ensure teams have the information and assets needed to deliver their key priorities.
Enhance program mechanisms and processes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
Experience:
5-7 years of experience as a product, program, or project manager within a technology or digital organization.
Proven experience in high-profile, multi-faceted programs.
Experience with planning processes, workshops, discussions, and reporting.
Experience working with senior and/or executive leadership.
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to build effective and productive relationships through trust and clear communication.
A proactive and action-oriented mindset with a love of working closely with others.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
