Your New Role...

Global Privacy Services is a centralized team of privacy professionals who work alongside lawyers, product and data teams to drive compliance across the entire enterprise. The team provides services under four core functions: Privacy Operations, Governance and Compliance, Privacy Service Center, and Compliance Projects. We are currently seeking a Manager, Privacy Governance and Inventory to enhance and maintain WBD’s Privacy Governance Framework, and to maintain central views of personal data use across the enterprise.

Your Role Accountabilities:

  • Make continuous improvements to data inventory, tagging, flows and mapping across the enterprise

  • Maintain central views and records of how the company uses personal information across systems, teams, business partners and countries

  • Enhance and maintain the WBD Privacy Governance Framework, comprising of the enterprise privacy common control framework and associated policies, standards and guidelines

  • Manage the library of standards and guidance for privacy, partnering with lawyers, data governance team and brand support functions to ensure correct guidance is made available to businesses and development teams

  • Generate data extracts to support WBDs Records of Processing Activity (ROPA)

  • Partner closely with Data Governance, Privacy, Legal, Security and Technology teams

  • Define and execute Privacy Governance projects

  • work collaboratively with privacy professionals, lawyers, and product and technology stakeholders on data-driven governance and compliance initiatives across Warner Bros Discovery’s business.

  • Harmonize processes globally across legacy teams

  • Manage the Data Inventory to enable Privacy Teams to utilize it efficiently and effectively

  • Work with key stakeholders on enhancements to the enterprise common control framework

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years professional experience in privacy or data governance or related field

  • Knowledge of industry-accepted privacy frameworks and privacy regulations (GDPR, CPRA, etc.)

  • Experienced with Data Catalog tools e.g. Collibra, Dashboard reporting e.g. BI Reporting and large datasets e.g. Snowflake

  • Experience creating data maps

  • Experience driving compliance with data privacy standards or policies

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills and attention to detail

  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)

**Please note that this is a hybrid position. Working onsite 2-3 days per week is required.
